    The role of the Operations Manager is a senior position. Overall, the role of an operations manager is vital for ensuring that a strong reputation is maintained in the marketplace. They are a conduit between different departments providing important feedback and communication. 
     
    Basic Requirement:
    1. Min 10 years experience,  in beauty, hair, luxury products, direct distribution industry
    2. Graduated with masters degree, preferably MBA from overseas.
    3. Fluent in English and Indonesian
    4. Self starter
    5. Strong in business accument
    6. Results through the right process 
    7. Spiritually sound
    8. Understand best practice system
     
    Key Responsibilities
    1. Ensuring that communication between departments is ongoing and utilised to maintain an environment of continuous improvement.
    2. Support the company in product planning and making sure the business is adequately resourced.
    3. Identifying any skills gaps in the organisation and undertaking a recruitment programme to support this.
    4. Training of staff and managers to ensure that everyone is performing adequately in their role.
    5. Providing a leadership support function to teams and motivating staff to achieve production goals.
    6. Managing budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning process.
    7. Acting as a liaison to senior management and board of directors to keep them up to date with outlet floor matters.
    8. Ensuring key performance indicators are in place and production targets are met.
    9. Implementation of any new policies and procedures relating to the production process.
    10. Introducing and managing in-house IT systems ensuring that they are fit for purpose.
    Skills Required:
    1. Leadership – leading teams from different departments to achieve organisational goals.
    2. Communication – ensuring that communication is ongoing and effective between different departments.
    3. IT – keeping up to date with IT systems in the workplace while having an understanding of emerging technologies.
    4. Presentation – Presenting ideas and results to different stakeholders across the business including staff and senior management.
    5. Team working – fostering an environment of teamwork to ensure that all products are delivered on time and company goals are met.
    6. Initiative – The ability to work alone and take a lead when hurdles arise or when tasks require completion.
    7. Planning - staying ahead of the game and ensuring that plans for the future are clearly labelled out for everyone to follow.
    8. Problem Solving – adapting to the ever changing environment and reacting quickly to meet challenges.
